The EP Behind the Curtain was released on November 5, 2025 via NorthPoint Productions & Sound Pollution (EU / North & South America) and on October 29, 2025 via King Records (Japan / SE Asia). The release was made possible through overwhelming fan support and stands as a celebration of Royal Hunt's global community.

Founded in 1989 by keyboardist André Andersen, Royal Hunt is a powerhouse of progressive and symphonic metal, blending the timeless energy of classic rock with intricate, modern arrangements. With over 1.8 million albums sold and extensive tours across the globe, the band continues to shape the sound of European melodic metal.

The addition of some extraordinary guest singers: Mats Leven (Candlemass, TSO, Skyblood), Mark Boals (Y.J. Malmsteen, Ring of Fire, Royal Hunt), Henrik Brockmann (Royal Hunt, Evil Masquerade, N´Tribe), Kenny Lubcke (Narita, Zoser Mez) and Alexandra Andersen (Royal Hunt, J.S.P.).and their outstanding performances combined with vastly extended orchestrations creates a truly conceptual, cinematic feel throughout each and every track.

Royal Hunt continues to make their mark on the global metal scene. Recent highlights include headlining Leyendas del Rock Festival (Spain), Jailbreak Festival (Denmark), Posada Rock (Romania), Epic Festival (Denmark) and their highly successful Japanese tour in 2025. Most recently, the band delivered standout performances at the renowned 70,000 Tons of Metal Festival in 2026, further reinforcing their reputation as a powerful live act. Royal Hunt has additional major festival appearances confirmed for the summer 2026 season.
