John Michael Ferrari (JMF) is a multiple award-winning entertainer and baby boomer storyteller whose music transforms lived experiences into timeless, emotionally relatable songs. Blending pop, country, jazz influences, and inspiration themes, JMF creates music that speaks to resilience, love, redemption, and the human spirit.

A survivor of a volatile and abusive childhood, JMF found refuge in a pawn shop guitar at age eight. That instrument became both shield and compass - guiding him through hardship, military service, and ultimately toward a life devoted to songwriting and entertaining. Today, JMF’s music reaches global radio audiences and international award stages.

Serving with the 25th Infantry Division during the Vietnam conflict (1965-66), JMF experienced firsthand the intensity of combat. After his first firefight, he wrote the song “Dustoff,” honoring the helicopter crews who rescued the wounded under fire. Music followed JMF even there - a guitar appeared at base camp, and JMF performed for fellow soldiers and officers alike.

Upon his Honorable Discharge from the Army, JMF performed in clubs, resorts, and steakhouses until 1990 when he met music producer Pepper Jay at Highland Springs Resort. They have been working together on his performance and original songs ever since.

Recently, JMF was awarded the “Quilt of Valor” for his military service.
